Tips to Shine Bright Onstage
Our junior and senior concerts, ICONIC, are coming up in less than two weeks!
In preparation for the big day, here are some tips to make it your best performance yet.
- Project your movements to the audience members. Make sure every step is performed outwardly and to the fullest extent of each line. This means reaching right to the tip of your fingers and keeping your posture proud.
- Raise your eyes to the last line of the audience. Many of us forget we need to look even higher than our usual eye-level when performing to an audience with many levels.
- Maximise facial expressions. Expressive faces give a“wow factor” to your performance. You’ll need to make your smile bigger than usual, so that even the back row of the audience can see it.
