Frequently Asked Questions
Classes
We have no doubt that your child will love our dance classes, although you are welcome to a 7 day free class pass to try out any classes your child may be interested in.
We ask our parents, guardians and siblings to wait in our comfortable waiting room, as classes are not open for viewing on a weekly basis. Our experience has shown that our dance classes are more efficient when there are no viewers sitting in on the class. The final week of Term 1 will be a viewing week. READY SET DANCE & READY SET BALLET classes will hold 1 viewing week each term.
We hold a viewing week towards the end of Term 1 for all students and at the end of every term for our READY SET DANCE and READY SET BALLET classes. During this week you are welcome to invite friends and family to watch your child’s dance classes with you to see what they have been learning in class each week. It’s a great opportunity to see their growth in dancing.
If you miss a lesson, you are welcome to come along to another class with the appropriate age and ability so you don’t miss out for that week! Please contact our admin staff to organise this.

Uniform and Shoes
Uniforms are only compulsory for competitive dancers, however we are proud to offer a range of dance wear that is appropriate for all dancers and classes. It is important for our dancers to wear safe and appropriate dance/active wear and footwear to each class they have chosen to participate in. Casual clothing or school uniforms are not appropriate for our dance and acro classes.
Ballet
It is compulsory for ballet students to wear a leotard to each class. Hair must also be up in a bun.
Acro
As acro requires hands on spotting, fitted clothing is preferred for acro classes for the safety of both dancers and their teachers.
