3 Best Handstand Tips
We love handstands here at Dance Factor! These tips will be sure to improve your handstands.
1. Think about squeezing your shoulders to your ears. Handstands are probably the only time a dance teacher would say this! This will solidify your base and set you up.
2. Engage your abdominals. To access these muscles, think of squeezing your belly button to your spine. Do this BEFORE you kick up to the handstand.
3. Align your joints. When in a handstand ensure your shoulders are stacked over wrists, hips stacked over shoulders, knees over hips, and ankles over knees.
