What a great start to 2012.
Our Wednesday night classes are going great guns with some bright new dancers adding to the numbers and Lenetia coming back after her time in Brisbane - welcome bak Lenetia we hope you and Scotty do well together.
We have some lots of news so here goes...
Competitions
We have two coming up. The first is in the Queensland Open in Brisbane at Easter and the second in Townsville on 5th May. We have a strong field of dancers but need more for the team events.
So if you are doing solo latin don't forget the we need you for the DanceFactor team - have a word to Diane for all the information.
Wednesday Classes
Wednesday night classes are now from 7:30 to 9:00 so we can fit everything in! Price is $15. So join us at the St Paul's Church Hall in Macalistar Street for a class for the more serious dancer - and that includes social dancers as well.
This class is not just for competitors so if you are a social dancer who wants to learn how to dance ballroom well then you are very welcome.
Training on Saturdays
We will be opening the Church Hall up for practice sessions between 2:30 to 4:30 on Saturday afternoons. So there is no excuse about not having a place to practice anymore!
Medals 19th May
Don't forget the medals examinations coming up in May. If you want to be involved please let Diane know. We need to get firm numbers so Diane can book the judge so let her know as soon as you can if you want to be involved.

Remember all medals and competitions dancers will need to wear them for classes from now on.
From the looks of things 2012 is going to be a good year so happy dancing and see you on the dance floor.
